PEX heat transfer plates: An IntroductionPEX heat transfer plates uses plates made up of metal for transferring heat among two fluids. Main advantage of using such plates is the exposure of fluids to enlarge the shell which is not possible in conventional transfer of heat. Allowing greater speed and heat transfer makes it different from other forms. Nowadays, its use is becoming very common as it is available in brazed versions to be used in boilers thus creating a new world of heating. In place of small brazed ones, gaskets are used in larger versions among the plates to transfer heat. This is specially designed to suit the demand of low pressure and medium pressure liquids and the types include semi welded, welded and brazed.
PEX heat transfer plates is very easy to install and use and helps to save space as well as money as it owns very small dimension. Pressure loss is very low with its effective use and selection according to specific need and it is also able to control temperature. Wide range of PEX heat transfer plates allows customers to choose from the wide range available. Each one differs in the form of load, consumption, heat exchanging rate and surface. Thus the main advantages range from compactness, flexibility, low cost, easy maintenance and effective temperature control. | |||||||||
